The concept of Yubo is interesting, but the execution needs serious work. There’s a lot of drama and negativity, and the constant upsells are annoying. The forced use of Yoti for verification is a significant privacy concern, and the account lockouts are disruptive. While I found a few decent people, the overall experience was marred by restrictions and a feeling of being nickel-and-dimed.

Absolutely terrible experience. The app is riddled with paywalls and the swiping feels like a grind designed to force you into spending money. Adding to the annoyance, the app keeps locking accounts and demanding you use a third-party verification app (Yoti) – a huge privacy concern. I got banned for a photo of my thighs, which is ridiculous! Don't waste your time with this app.

I was excited about this app at first, but it quickly became clear that it's heavily focused on monetization. The constant prompts to upgrade, the limited free swiping, and the requirement to use Yoti for verification are all incredibly frustrating. I was banned for a photo of my thighs, which seems completely arbitrary and unfair. The app feels more like a cash grab than a genuine social platform.

This app is incredibly frustrating! The biggest issue is the constant push to pay for features that were previously free. Swiping feels limited, and the ‘boosts’ are aggressively promoted. Furthermore, the account restrictions and the need to use Yoti to verify identity feels invasive and unnecessary, especially for a social app targeting a younger demographic. I'd recommend exploring other platforms before wasting your time here.

This app is a disaster. The rules are constantly changing, accounts get locked for ridiculous reasons (apparently a picture of my thighs is inappropriate?), and you’re constantly pressured to pay for features. The Yoti verification app is a huge privacy violation, and the whole experience feels manipulative and frustrating. I'd strongly advise against using this app.
