Thriftbooks is a decent option for finding used books at lower prices, but the shipping can be *really* slow. I also noticed that the price sometimes changes between when you see it on the app and when you actually click to buy it – a bit frustrating.

The app itself is okay, but the shifting prices and inconsistent condition descriptions are a problem. I've received books that were heavily damaged or not as described. Shipping times are also a major issue – I waited weeks for some of my orders.

I love Thriftbooks for the selection and deals! They have a great rewards system, and I've gotten a few free books. The books themselves are usually in good condition, and it's a fantastic alternative to buying new.
