The content is interesting, especially the Japanese news and cultural programs. However, the app feels very basic - no save/bookmark functionality, and the video player could be much smoother. It's a good start, but needs more polish.

I really appreciate having access to NHK World on the go, but the app is frustratingly limited. No ability to cast, awkward video player with long pauses, and a lack of basic features make it feel underdeveloped. Hopefully, they'll add more functionality!

This app is fantastic for getting a unique perspective on world news and Japanese culture! It's great for learning about Japan and its people, but it needs some improvements like the ability to save favorite shows and adjust video quality.
