I'm incredibly frustrated with this product. The marketing claims this gimbal is great for creating engaging content, but it’s largely unusable. The 'Story Mode' is severely limited, forcing short, canned videos with no ability to customize. Furthermore, the app frequently fails to save videos, leading to lost footage. The entire experience feels overly controlled by the app, and I’m paying a premium price for a frustrating and unreliable product. It has been difficult to get support. The app needs a serious overhaul.

This gimbal has a lot of potential, but the app is really clunky. I love the stabilization, but the app is difficult to navigate, and it frequently crashes, especially when trying to save videos. The biggest frustration is the reliance on the app for nearly all features – it feels limiting, and the app should be able to do what a gimbal is supposed to do. Also, I'm disappointed that there's no way to bypass the app to use the gimbal.

While the DJI OSMO Mobile 3 gimbal itself provides good stabilization, the app is a major letdown. It’s overly complicated, and the limited features are a serious problem. The active track function doesn't work reliably, and you can’t tweak the settings to get the desired tracking. I would have more confidence in the product if I could use it without needing the app. The inability to make longer stories is so frustrating. Overall, it’s a decent product, but the software needs major improvement.
