This app is a nightmare! I had a major issue where my Alipay account suddenly stopped working, and it was incredibly frustrating. They demanded I had a Chinese bank account, which is completely unfair and left me stranded. The support was non-existent, and it feels like a massive scam for non-Chinese citizens. Seriously, avoid this!

I was excited to try Alipay for my trip to China, but it's been incredibly glitchy. Many of the menus are in Chinese, and the app frequently freezes or locks my account. It’s unreliable, and I’d definitely recommend sticking with WeChat instead.

While the setup process seemed relatively easy, I've encountered problems with the app not accepting my US credit card and the constant need to verify my identity. The customer support is unresponsive, and it feels like a frustrating waste of time. Overall, it's not a reliable solution for travelers.
