This iphone app is a great way to pass the time when you are sitting on the bus, in the waiting room at the dentist, or any other spare second that you have to indulge yourself.  This is the newer version of the previous hit PopCap game.  The game centers around a group of loveable zombies that are trying to invade your home.  The only way that you can stop them is by using a defensive strategy of 49 different zombie blasting plants.  These plants use weapons such as the cherry bomb, pea shooter, and wall-nut to slow down and stop the intruders.  There are over 26 different types of zombies to try and destroy before they get to your home.

One thing that makes this version of Plants vs. Zombies extremely interesting is that each of the 26 different zombies have special skills.  That means that you will have to use different varieties of plants to slow and stop each one.  The more you play, the better you will get at using these strategies to hinder the zombies.  Be aware that you only have a limited supply of weapons and ammunition so you have to make every shot count!  On top of that there are other obstacles to be overcome including the sun, fog, and swimming pool!

Conclusion:   This game is very easy to pick up, and easy to get the hang of.  If you are into strategy games, this is a great fit for you.  One of the best features about the game is the ability to save the game when you exit that app, and start it back up right where you left off.  It’s a perfect way to waste a few minutes when you are waiting, and is ranked highly among iPhone apps.
