The iPhone app High School Hero allows you to work your way to the top of the high school social scene to eventually become the most popular kid in school.   If you weren’t very popular in your high school days you can change your fate with this app!  There are three different character types to choose from upon starting the game.  Each different player type has its own advantages and disadvantages, so you can pick a character that you think will give you the best chance of becoming a high school hero.  Users get to go to school and control the activities of their character as you compete online with other characters.  In order to survive, you’ll need to make friends so that they can help you battle other groups of friends for superiority of the school.  You can also play games with your friends to build your relationships.  To boost your character’s strength and self-esteem, you can buy clothes.  Not only can the clothes show off your own personal sense of style, but they make your character stronger, smarter and more charming.

As you gain popularity in the school, you can start gunning for some of the social positions at the high school.  Your character can run for class president, along with many other leadership positions at the virtual school.  You can also try out to be the school mascot.  These victories for your character earn you achievements.

Conclusion:

This app is a very interactive game that allows you to play online with other players, which increases the intrigue and fun of the game.  The new and current version has fixed a few of the bugs from the original.  They have also added some performance enhancements to better your playing experience.  This game has been compared to the popular Facebook game “Mafia Wars,” but is rated higher by users because it is more casual and accessible.  It also has an easier user interface for smoother game play.
