Join popular characters from the TV show Family Guy and you control them through over 40 levels of adventure.  If you’ve ever laughed yourself sick at the shenanigans of The Family Guy, then this app is for you.  You can play as the eccentric Peter Griffin, the brilliant, yet slightly evil Stewie, and many of the other popular characters.  The fun doesn’t stop as you run into different challenges, and the uncensored humor is sure to keep you entertained.

There are eight mini games that users can grapple with.  The Petercopter mini-game lets you navigate Peter’s helicopter through a never-ending canyon to see how long you can go before exploding.  There is a game called Brian vs. Stewie that lets you help Brian elude the money-hungry Stewie.  Anther mini-game similar to this one is Peter vs. Chicken, whose object should be obvious to any Family Guy Fan.  Other mini-games included are Robo Stewie, Sketch Arcade, and Jungle Love.  Users can also expect cameo appearances by popular support characters, such as Joe, Cleveland, Opie, Bertram, Olivia, and others.  The main mission of the game occurs as you guide and watch characters as they deal with a power outage that has swept through the town of Quahog.  Many familiar spots in the town appear during game play, such as Spooner Street, City Hall, and the Drunken Clam.

Conclusion:

The Family Guy:  Uncensored iPhone app will be fun and entertaining for all, but especially those who are fans of the hit TV show.  There has been a little bit of negative feedback about the game, as users who have played the app have stated that the gameplay is entertaining, but they wish that they could hear the characters’ voices more.  Users also complained that the game was too short.  Game makers decided to spice things up a bit in the newer version by adding new endings to some of the mini games.  They also added a new jump button during, and they changed the location of the pause button to avoid accidental pauses during game play.

This app received 3.5 out of 5 stars by iPhone app users.  It is available now for $0.99 at the app Store.
