Stay up to speed on all of your favorite sports teams with the ESPN score center app for the iPhone.  With this app you’ll never have to sit around wondering how things are going for your sports team while you are out and about.  The ESPN Score Center app gives you access to scores from all major sports action in real time.  This app has got you covered with real-time scores from the NFL, NBA, NHL, NCAA, and more.  Over 500 leagues are covered.  If a score can be found on ESPN.com, then it will be available on this app.  There are several screens that you can toggle horizontally, and ESPN Score Center gives you the option to designate your favorite leagues to appear on each screen.  Each screen is designated with a different color, so it is very aesthetically pleasing.   Upon installation, users can also choose their favorite teams from multiple sports and leagues which show up on the home screen each time the app is turned on.   Scores are updated right as they happen, and each event can be expounded upon to show more detailed statistics.  Also available is the ESPN tracker that passes pertinent information at the bottom of the screen, just like on ESPN.  One of the best features of this app is that it comes absolutely free of charge!

Conclusion:

Overall, this app provides the best access to sports scores around.  You will not find a more user friendly way to organize all of the action of your favorite sports teams and leagues.  The format of the app is similar to what is found on ESPN.com, which is very easy to navigate even for those who aren’t ESPN sports nuts.  Some of the minor drawbacks of the app include lack of video that can be found on the actual ESPN.com website, but for those just interested in making sure their team is still on top when they can’t be next to the television, this app is the perfect one.
